CHAPTER I GENERAL PROVISIONS
Article 1(Names and locations) #
(1) The names and locations of the Army, Navy, and Air Force military academies established pursuant to Article 1 (1) of the Military Academies Establishment Act (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”) shall be as specified in the Appendix. <Amended on Sep. 8, 1994>

Article 2(Cadets) #
(1) A person studying at each military academy shall be referred to as a “cadet.”

(3) A cadet shall be treated as equivalent to a warrant officer.

Article 3(School regulations) #
(1) The commandant of each military academy shall establish the school regulations with the approval of the Minister of National Defense through the Chief of Staff of the relevant military service. The same shall apply to any amendments thereto.
(2) Where the Minister of National Defense intends to approve or amend the school regulations pursuant to paragraph (1), they shall consult with the Minister of Education. In such cases, for matters concerning the student quota, the Minister of Strategy and Finance shall also be consulted. <Amended on Dec. 23, 1994; May 24, 1999; Jan. 29, 2001; Feb. 29, 2008; Mar. 23, 2013>
