REGULATIONS ON SETTLEMENT OF ACCOUNTS AND REPORTING OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS BUSINESS

CHAPTER I GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1(Purpose) #

The purpose of this Decree is to provide for necessary regulations with which facilities-based service providers shall comply in the settlement of accounts and reporting pursuant to Article 49 of the Telecommunications Business Act. <Amended by Presidential Decree No. 22424, Oct. 1, 2010>

Article 2(Scope of Application) #

This Decree shall apply to the facilities-based service providers defined under Article 5 of the Telecommunications Business Act (hereinafter referred to as the "Act"). <Amended on Oct. 1, 2010; Jun. 5, 2019>

(2) "Facilities-based telecommunications business operator whose telecommunications service turnover of the preceding year is less than an amount prescribed by Presidential Decree" in the proviso of Article 29 of the Act means a business operator classified as follows: <Newly Inserted on Jun. 25, 2019>

1. In the case of operating the business possessing line equipment referred to in Article 11 of the Enforcement Decree of the Telecommunications Business Act (hereinafter referred to as "business possessing line equipment"): A facilities-based telecommunications business operator whose turnover of the business possessing line equipment in the preceding year is less than 30 billion won;

2. In the case of operating the business not possessing line equipment referred to in the provisions, with the exception of the subparagraphs, of Article 20 (11) of the Enforcement Decree of Telecommunications Business Act (hereinafter referred to as "business not possessing line equipment"): A facilities-based telecommunications business operator whose turnover of the business not possessing line equipment in the preceding year is less than 80 billion won;

3. In the case of operating both the business possessing line equipment and the business not possessing line equipment: A facilities-based telecommunications business operator whose turnover of the business possessing line equipment in the preceding year is less than 30 billion won and turnover of the business not possessing line equipment in the preceding year is less than 80 billion won.
