Article 1(Purpose) #
The purpose of this Act is to prescribe matters relating to the salaries and other remuneration of public prosecutors pursuant to Article 36 (1) of the Prosecutors' Office Act.

Article 2(Standards for Remuneration) #
Public prosecutors shall be entitled to receive salary and other remuneration pursuant to the Public Prosecutor Salary Schedule as set forth in attached Table 1: Provided, That where the salary and other remuneration of public prosecutors are to be adjusted following the adjustment of public officials' remuneration, they may be determined by Presidential Decree until this Act is amended, based on the Standard Salary Schedule for Public Prosecutors as set forth in attached Table 2.

Article 3(Methods of Payment) #
(1) Salary and other remuneration shall be paid on the 20th day of each month: Provided, That if a payday falls on a holiday, they shall be paid on the previous day.
(2) The period of payment of salary and other remuneration shall be counted from the announcement date of appointment, irrespective of appointment to position, transfer, change of position, promotion, salary cut or any other reasons.

Article 4(Enforcement Decree) #
The standards for the promotion of public prosecutors and other necessary matters regarding the enforcement of this Act shall be prescribed by Presidential Decree.
